Membership CriteriaMembership in the National Humanities Alliance (NHA) is open to
organizations and institutions that sponsor or support individual
scholars, programs of study in the humanities, or other activities in
the humanities. Applicants for membership must be exempt from federal
taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The NHA
is strictly nonpartisan. There are three categories of membership in the
National Humanities Alliance:

Dues FormulaAnnual dues contributions are based on a member organization's size and interest in the humanities. The following dues formula was adopted at the 4/22/87 NHA Annual Meeting:
Please note that this formula was designed primarily for organizations with individual members, and may not apply to humanities centers, organizations comprised of institutional members, or other non-individual members groups. |
