Basic Principles for Managing Intellectual Property in the Digital Environment

The National Humanities Alliance first released Basic Principles for Managing Intellectual Property in the Digital Environment in 1997. The Principles were developed by the NHA's Committee on Libraries and Intellectual Property in an effort to build consensus within the educational community on the uses of copyrighted works in the rapidly evolving digital and legal environments.
