Roundtable on Scholarly Communication in the Humanities and Social Sciences

The Roundtable on Scholarly Communication in the Humanities and Social Sciences was convened in March 2001 by the Association of Research Libraries, the National Humanities Alliance, and the Knight Collaborative, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Participants representing faculty, administrators, scholarly societies, scholarly publishers, and librarians, considered the future of disseminating scholarly findings in the humanities and social sciences. The roundtable grew out of a series of conversations that took place in conferences, roundtables, and the NHA's Committee on Libraries and Intellectual Property over several years.
