The organizations and institutions of the National Humanities Alliance convene annually at the membership business meeting. The meeting now takes place each spring in conjunction with Humanities Advocacy Day. Finance, Membership, and Nominating Committee reports are delivered at the meeting. The Nominating Committee presents a slate of candidates to fill board vacancies and officer positions.
