NEA Posts Application Guidelines for Literature Fellowships: Translation Projects

August 30, 2010 – The application period is open for the Literature Fellowships: Translation Projects funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). The Arts Endowment supports projects for the translation of specific works of prose, poetry, or drama from other languages into English. All proposed projects must be for creative translations of literary material into English. The work to be translated should be of interest for its literary excellence and value. The NEA does not fund scholarly writing. Priority will be given to projects that involve work that has not yet been translated into English.

  • Literature Fellowships: Translation Projects ($12,500 to $25,000) – due 1/6/11
