NEH Announces $31.5 million in Awards & Offers

August 26, 2010 – On August 10, the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) announced $31.5 million in grants for 201 humanities projects. Institutions and scholars in 41 states will receive NEH support. Grants were awarded in twelve categories:

  • We The People Project Grants for State Humanities Councils
  • Digital Humanities Start-up Grants
  • Summer Seminars and Institutes for College and University Teachers Grants
  • Summer Seminars and Institutes for School Teachers Grants
  • Landmarks of American History and Culture: Workshops for School Teachers
  • Landmarks of American History and Culture: Workshops for Community College Faculty
  • America’s Historical and Cultural Organizations: Planning & Implementation Grants
  • Interpreting America’s Historic Places: Planning & Implementation Grants
  • America’s Media Makers: Development & Production Grants
  • Bridging Cultures: Planning and Implementation Grants for Academic Forums and Program Development Grants
  • NEH on the Road Grants     
  • Challenge Grants
