NEH Grant Application Guidelines Opened in August

August 30, 2010 – The application period is open for several grant opportunities from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). A partial list is provided below of NEH grant guidelines opened in August. Applicants should refer directly to the NEH website to verify all detail, including deadlines and available grants.

NEH Division of Research Programs

  • Scholarly Editions and Translations (from $50,000 to $100,00 per year for up to three years) – due 10/28/10

Endowment-Wide Programs & Initiatives, NEH Office of Digital Humanities

  • German Research Foundation/NEH Bilateral Digital Humanities Program: Enriching Digital Collections ($100,000 to $300,000 for up to three years) – due 11/16/10
  • German Research Foundation/NEH Bilateral Digital Humanities Program: Bilateral Symposia and Workshops ($20,000 to $100,000 for up to one year) – due 11/16/10
  • Digital Humanities Start-up Grants (Level I: $5,000 to $25,000 and Level II: $25,001 to $50,000) – due 10/5/10

Endowment-Wide Programs & Initiatives, NEH Division of Preservation & Access

  • National Digital Newspaper Program (up to $400,00 for a two-year period) – due 11/2/10
